  • Don Escarzega-Phan, M.D.

    Anesiologist Pain Management Specialist

    Dr. Escarzega-Phan brings world class training in the field of Pain Medicine to the North Texas area. After receiving his undergraduate and medical degrees from the Johns Hopkins University and Boston University respectively, he relocated to Washington D.C., where he completed an Anesthesiology residency at Georgetown University Hospital. He then completed his fellowship training at The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), one of the top medical centers in the world.

    During his Pain Fellowship, Dr. Phan treated patients with myriad pain-related conditions, from those with persistent pain after surgery to those with previously undiagnosed pathology. He uses an evidence-based, comprehensive, patient-centered approach to caring for patients and utilizes his discriminative diagnostic skills to tailor treatments and recommendations to individual conditions. Dr. Phan understands that no two people experience pain alike, so a blanket approach to pain management is ill-advised and ineffective. He has performed thousands of procedures successfully.

    Dr. Escarzega-Phan is double Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management.
