This airport is 45 minutes away from Pelican Hill.
RENTAL CARS
We recommend renting a car while you are in Los Angeles/Orange County Area as there is limited public transportation available. We recommend booking through Costco Travel for the cheapest rates and you don't need a credit card to secure your reservations. (You need a costco membership card. If you need one, please contact us.)

Pelican Hill Resort We encourage you to stay at Pelican Hill, as it is an incredible Italian-inspired resort, hard to come by anywhere in the continental US, especially at our wedding discounted rates! Rates for single rooms are much more expensive than a single room in a villa. So if you don't mind sharing a villa with other guests and split the cost, please contact us ASAP, and we will match you up with our dear guests. The rates are as follow:

THINGS TO DO
We have been to this part of California many many times, so we've put together a list of our favorites, not necessarily what you'd find on tripadvisor. :) Hopefully you'll pick few things from our list while you're in LA! Feel free to ask us any questions. :)
Oo Kook
If you love Korean BBQ like we do, please come here! Don and I always eat here whenever we're in LA, just because it's THAT good. I remember coming here 3 days in a row. :) $24.99 per person, all you can eat korean BBQ...and we mean really good BBQ.
Griffith Observatory
We love coming here at sunset. It's beautiful and you can see the entire city lights up. We recommend coming around 4PM, do a little hiking, have a picnic, watch the sunset, then watch the city lights go up. It's one of Uyen's favorite places in LA! *Bring blankets!*
Newport Beach
The town of Newport Beach is only 5 minutes from Pelican Hill. We love this town. There is a really good sushi restaurant that we love, it's called San Shi Go. Great $5 uni! LOVE! We recommend coming here around 6PM, walk the beach, have sushi for dinner, walk the shops for souvenirs, join the locals for a bonfire by the beach to end your night. :)
Laguna Beach
For a day trip, we recommend driving south 30 minutes to Laguna. You can't go wrong with Laguna:)
Disneyland/Universal
If you will be traveling with kids, please take them to Disneyland, the happiest place on earth! We also enjoyed Universal for more adult rides. The Mummy ride is Uyen's favorite, while Indiana Jones is Don's, but Transformers is OUR favorite. We are kids.
Little Saigon
If you want authentic Vietnamese food, we recommend Little Saigon in Westminster. Try our favorite dishes: Banh Canh, Bun Rieu, Bun Bo Hue, Banh Beo Chen..but please NO Pho in LA!
